Hull shape and changing viewpoints matter when planning a boat’s graphics. A drawing for a flat surface may not produce the same appearance on the boat.
This guide explains how to prepare a visual design request. Do not assume Graffiti Ankara accepts every vessel or application method. Confirm the scope that can be assessed at the first conversation.
Which surface will be designed? The hull side, upper section and individual surfaces offer different conditions. Show windows, equipment and existing markings in photographs.
Share current views from different directions and verified drawings where available. A generic model image may not show the actual hull’s details. Be clear about which existing condition guides the design.
How should the name relate to the graphics? The boat’s name, bespoke lettering and abstract compositions can have different priorities. Provide the approved spelling and intended language at the start.
Separate decorative text from required registration and markings. Relevant authorities or qualified people should verify mandatory visibility and other technical or regulatory conditions. A design image is not approval of compliance.
How are colour and continuity assessed? Consider the existing hull colour, form placement and lines continuing across surfaces together. Covering the whole surface is not the only option.
Describe the lines and colours you like in references. Develop an original composition rather than copy another boat’s graphics. Clarify logo and image rights separately.
Does design include physical application? Concepts, file preparation and application are different stages. Qualified installers should verify materials for marine conditions, surface preparation and methods.
Approving an image does not establish that a particular film or paint is suitable. Explain maintenance, resistance and use through actual products and methods. This is not an application recipe or a guarantee of technical services.
