A window composition viewed from inside may look different from the street. Glass, lighting, approach directions and product placement all form part of the design.
Unlike an image applied only to a wall, an installation can use volume and depth. Distinguish the needs of a permanent arrangement from a short seasonal narrative at the outset.
From what distance will the window be seen? A passing pedestrian's brief view differs from the detail seen by someone standing in front of the window. Assess approach directions and surrounding visual activity.
Reflections and changes in daylight may affect the composition. Photographs taken at different times are therefore useful. One studio presentation cannot establish every condition.
How do the products and installation share attention? Define whether the artwork accompanies a product group, interprets a seasonal theme or develops a particular visual idea.
Explain how often products change and how much space is available. The installation should not conceal products or obstruct staff access. Treat artistic design and responsibility for existing display equipment separately.
What changes with a temporary design's duration? The display period, installation window, dismantling and storage expectations influence material and production decisions. Plan separately how any intended reuse would happen.
Appearance alone cannot establish sustainability or ease of transport. Assess actual materials, connections and the use plan. Clarify who takes responsibility at the end of the season.
What should be discussed with lighting and technical teams? Ask relevant representatives about existing fittings, power points and technical limits. Qualified specialists must confirm suitability and installation conditions for suspended or fixed elements.
Installation design does not automatically include the whole window structure or electrical work. Assign responsibility for each component within the delivery and approval plan.
Can the same idea work in several windows? A shared visual language is possible, but transferring one composition directly into different widths and depths may be insufficient. Assess each window's views and conditions.
Start with brand guidance, site drawings, representative products and the target season. Share photographs and a short project outline on WhatsApp. Graffiti Ankara can clarify the artistic design and application scope to be considered.
